To begin, I just want to say that you have the right to your own opinion and do not have to agree with me, because some of you are mongoloids I had to say this. Thank you to @Offset for being the coolest admin ever.

17 by Jahseh Dwayne Ricardo Onfroy or better known as XXXTENTACION, is an album that is beloved by fans with a spice of critics and also unloved by listeners and critics. The album in X's words is to help those who are down and feel lost as he tries to help by ensuring that they are not alone. This album doesn't approach every person in the world as some humans are for a lack of better terms, built different. Not everyone is going to enjoy an entire album that is filled with lyrics about heartbreak, loneliness, and... pain. To start the review I'm going to push right into the music excluding the first track "The Explanation".

House Of Balloons: An In-Depth Analysis of The Weeknd's Essential Debut Mixtape

As we start this new decade, I think it's important to take a look back at what was arguably the most influential project of the last one. Trilogy, a compilation released in 2012 by The Weeknd, has had an impact on modern music that rivals Kanye West's 808's & Heartbreaks. Trilogy contains the first three mixtapes released by The Weeknd, House Of Balloons, Thursday, & Echoes of Silence. The story of Trilogy is a long one, so long in fact that in this article, I will only cover House Of Balloons, the debut project.

The year is 2010. With the turn of the decade, the music world is excitedly awaiting what the 10's will bring to the table. Kanye West is in hibernation after last year's VMA debacle, but knowing him he is working on something incredible. Lil Wayne is trying to release Tha Carter IV, a project that wouldn't see release for nearly two more years, despite already missing a release date. However, the most promising...

"Ooh, I was born to do a thing (Beep)
Pull up in an all-black Range (Yeah)
Hop in this bitch, go bang (Squad)
And I speed race in that lane"

This Pierre Bourne produced collaboration between Playboi Carti and Unotheactivist features a catchy hook provided by Uno, which is complimented by the video game like melody present in the beat. I really like this song as it...

XXXTENTACION, born Jahseh Dwayne Ricardo Onfroy, was an American singer-songwriter. Hailing from Plantation, Florida, he started his music career as early as 2013, he started off posting Facebook acapella tracks and uploaded his first track to SoundCloud, "News/Flock" that same year. 2017 was the year X had his big break when his "Look At Me!" blew up while he was in jail. Later that year he had "beef" with Drake, which led him to blow up even more. In August that same year, he dropped his debut album, "17" which debuted at #2 on the Billboard Hot 200, and sported some...

This article is just my opinion, so you don't have to agree and you definitely aren't wrong if you hate any of these albums.

Dedicated is an album that is split between two sounds and sides of Carly Rae Jepsen. Initially described as a disco album, it more closely resembles a direct sequel to her previous album EMOTION with a stronger focus on a retro sound. Alongside cuts that sound like 70s/80s pop with a minor facelift are very modern songs that are meant to garner a more mainstream audience.

Carly has proven her talent at both of these sounds. Her second album Kiss showed her pop sensibility and EMOTION showed how well she could perform over her now signature throwback style. Dedicated mingles these two together.

Julien is most likely the best song here and it shows a strong blend of her two sides, modern and retro. The...
